Themed Weekends:

April 30 "Cinco De Mayo Chili Cook-off"
**Round up your favorite ingredients and get a simmering!!
Festivities will start at 5:00 p.m. in the Indoor Entertainment Center or Pavilion
(weather dependent). Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 finishers.

Judging will be based on the following:

1. Presentation.
2. Aroma-Chili should not smell burnt or unpleasant.
3. Taste-A really good taste will stand out.
4. Consistency-Chili should be a GOOD MEAT AND GRAVY combination. Meat should be tender but not broken down.
5. Aftertaste-Residual taste should be PLEASANT .

May 7 Mother's Day Crafts for the Kids

Normal Weekend Activity Schedule begins. Heated pool opens.

July 9 "Yard Sale & Alex's Lemonade Stand"
*Anyone and everyone: bring those lost treasures and make some cash!! 9:00 a.m. - noon at the Pavilion.
*Set-up begins at 8:30 a.m. Free coffee for all those hardworking sellers! Get there early to get a table or bring a blanket and set up on the grass.

July 23 "Christmas in July"
Site Decorating contest on Saturday night. Winners will receive Camp Store gift certificates.
Bring unwrapped gifts and Santa will distribute them to your family members

Criteria Judged:
· Originality: Unique design and creative use of lights and decorations
· Arrangement: Display and placement of decorations
· Guest Interaction
· Theme: Story line or scene
· Overall Presentation

July 30 "Death by Chocolate"
Willy Wonka vacations in the Poconos! A chocolate fondue will greet guests. Bring your favorite chocolate dessert to share with others to the Pavilion at 6:15 p.m. Bingo prizes will be chocolate.
Add a little sweetness to someone's day and send a Candy Gram.

August 5-7 "Pennsylvania 500 NASCAR Race Weekend"
*50/50 Raffle

August 13 "Fun 'N Games"
*Fun and games for all ages.

August 20 "Pirates Weekend"
*Scavenger Hunts, Geocaching.

August 26 - 28 "Celebration for Man's Best Friend"
Stop in the Camp Store and pick up some homemade treats.

September 2 - 5"Labor Day Weekend - "Chinese Auction"
*50/50 Raffle

September 11 "Happy Grandparent's Day"
Free coffee and treat for all Grandparents in the Camp Store 9:00 a.m. - noon.

September 24 "Fall Festival"

October 1 "Oktoberfest"

October 8 "Columbus Day" Share your Soup
*Bring your favorite pot of soup to share with others.

October 22 "Happy Halloween"
Kid's Crafts and games in the Indoor Entertainment Center at 1:30 p.m.
Trick or Treating 3:00 p.m.
& Adult Party at 7:00 p.m.

 

Tie Dye - TBA
Bring one light-colored article (t-shirt, shorts, socks, pillow case) that is pre-washed and dried without a dryer sheet. Meet at the
Pavilion at 1:00.p.m.
*There will be a $2.00 fee for all non-seasonal guests.
