“First time RV campers here! I picked this campground because we love to hike and paddleboard in the Poconos. Debbie and Carmen were very helpful and informative when we reached out with questions. Everything has been a pleasant experience, from the other campers we have met to the amenities in the game room and the cleanliness of all the facilities — so far everything has exceeded our expectations.”
Our storyWe bought a struggling campground in 2002 and rebuilt it by hand.
We purchased the campground in January 2002. It was in dire straits and needed much help.
We took on the huge challenge of tearing down the old Bathhouse and Rec Hall and built my new Camp Store (my castle on the Mountain), a new 2-story Indoor Entertainment Center and Bathhouse. The pools were resurfaced and all new filters/heaters were purchased.
Our first Memorial Day Weekend, I greeted guests sitting on a milk crate perched behind my desk which was a door on two saw horses.
We certainly have come a long way and continue to strive to provide our guests with the best facilities possible.
As for the atmosphere, we are a “Family-Oriented” Campground. Our family has been invaluable through the years. Each member has provided much needed assistance and support.
The heartbeat of our campground is our seasonal guests, who have become our extended family. We are blessed to have such wonderful people surrounding us. In addition, we have a core group of returning guests each year that always bring a smile to our faces and have a special place in our hearts.
We would like to take this opportunity to extend an invitation for you and your family to join us and share “Our Piece of Heaven”!

Season
We open April 30th through October 17th 2027; office answers year-round.
Check-in
Campsites 2–10 p.m., check-out by noon. Rentals 3–10 p.m., out by 11 a.m.
Campfires
Fire ring at every site and firewood in the camp store. No outside wood from across state lines.
Pets
Two per site, leashed at 6 ft or less, current rabies paperwork at check-in. Dog run for registered guests.
Bathhouses
Modern men's and women's bathhouses with tub/shower units. Showers are free.
Payments
All major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, money orders and cash. No checks on arrival.
Propane
Bottled and metered propane available at the camp store.
Alcohol
Permitted, but no glass containers in public areas.

Finding us on the mountain.
From the east or west
I-80 to I-380N (exit 293 toward Scranton), then PA-940 exit 3 toward Pocono Pines/Mt. Pocono. Turn onto PA-940E.
From the south
PA Turnpike 476N to exit 95, I-80E to I-380N (exit 293), then PA-940 exit 3 and right onto PA-940E.
From the north
I-81S to I-84E/I-380E toward Milford/Mt. Pocono, merge onto I-380S, then PA-940 exit 3 and left onto PA-940E.
From the northeast
I-84W to exit 20 (PA-507). PA-507S 4.1 mi, PA-191S 2.9 mi, PA-423S 2.5 mi, then PA-196S/Sterling Road 6.4 mi — our sign is on the left.
From PA-940E: at the intersection of PA-940, Rt. 611 and PA-196 stay in the middle lane and bear left onto PA-196N. Go 7/10 of a mile to our sign, turn onto Edgewood Road, and follow it straight through two stop signs.
